Paweł Pawlik
PAWEŁ PAWLIK – pianist, chamber musician, doctor of musical arts. Graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in 2005, where he studied under of Prof. Anna Jastrzębska-Quinn.
In the years 2007–2009, he participated in an artistic internship at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano chamber class of Prof. Katarzyna Jankowska-Borzykowska. In 2020, the pianist obtained a doctoral degree at his alma mater.
He is a laureate of various international chamber music competitions, including in Italy and Malta.
Paweł Pawlik has performed solo and chamber music recitals in many European countries, including Italy, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, France, and Spain. He has performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Oskar Kolberg Świętokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce, Capella Bydgostiensis Chamber Orchestra, Witold Lutosławski Płock Symphony Orchestra, Musica Sonora Symphony Orchestra in Budapest, and Toruń Symphony Orchestra, Witold Lutosławski Chamber Orchestra in Łomża. He has worked with the following conductors: Marzena Diakun, Jakub Chrenowicz, Péter Illényi, Jerzy Wołosiuk and Jan Miłosz Zarzycki.
Giving numerous concerts, the pianist is also an active chamber musician.
2020 saw the release of his CD album, Juliusz Wertheim. Works for Piano Solo. Sonata for Piano and Violin.
Since 2008, Paweł Pawlik has been working as a collaborative pianist at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He is also a piano teacher at the Juliusz Zarębski State Music School No. 3 in Warsaw.
