Tomasz Pawłowski

Pianist and chamber musician, Tomasz Pawłowski graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in the piano class of Prof. Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and chamber music class of Prof. Krystyna Borucińska. He is a laureate of many competitions, including 1st prize at the International Piano Competition in Oranienburg (Germany, 2005) and 1st prize for chamber music (with soprano Ewa Leszczyńska) at the Giosuè Carducci Competition in Madesimo (Italy, 2012). He is also a finalist for duets (with baritone Artur Rożek) of the International Vocal Competition ‘s-Hertogenbosch (2016).

Tomasz Pawłowski belongs to the VVHL concert agency in the Netherlands. He is employed at the Chopin Music University in Warsaw, teaching piano improvisation and working as a vocal coach. He also collaborates with Warsaw’s National Theatre, Lalka, and IMKA theatres.

The pianist is a Mayor of Hamamatsu Scholarship recipient. In 2015, he performed a series of Chopin recitals at the EXPO in Milan.

Tomasz Pawłowski and violinist Agnieszka Marucha recorded a CD of works by Hans Huber and Ryszard Sielicki. He is a regular pianist at the Antonina Campi Masterclass and Competition. In 2023, he lead a masterclass for pianists at the Zheijang Conservatory of Music in Hangzhou, China.

Both as soloist and chamber musician, Tomasz Pawłowski has performed in many European countries and internationally. He worked with various brilliant artists: singers, violinists, clarinettists, and bandoneonists; and recorded for DUX, Acte Préalable, and WSiP.
